Hi Liz -

What you need to do is login to your account, goto "my Account" page, and disable automatic billing.

With auto-billing disabled you will no longer be charged and your account will expire in due course.

When you use the credit card, it remains and charges you for continuous subscription long after initial use. Cancellation process is not user friendly, if at all in place! Please cancel my subscription immediately!

When you sign up for Premium Voki, you are asked for a credit card for automated billing.which you can cancel anytime. If you do not cancel, we have no way of guessing that you want your subscription stopped.


Cancelling auto-billing is simple.

- Login to your account

- goto the my Account page

- disable automatic billing.


or - write a note to support@voki.com and we will take care of it for you.


No reason is required, and we do not make it difficult for anyone to discontinue.

Why you got that impression is unclear - but I'll be happy to know more about it.

I am using the free Basic Trial version of Voki to make a presentation for college. My Avatar will not talk. It states type to speech, apparently that feature does not work.

All my Voki's stopped playing, as of today.

Is there a problem with the website? When I click "Play" the circle just spins and spins like it's loading but then nothing happens. For embedded Voki's, the orange line keeps loading but nothing happens. I have several Voki's in my online courses, so I really do need them to work! Any suggestions?

Voki Fraudulent Charges

Has anyone else been charged for a subscription you never requested? I received an email receipt for a subscription that I neither requested or need. The charge is pending to a company (212-375-6290) with a recording, that leaves to another recording, etc. with a name "Oddcast - the leader in social media and viral marketing". Again, no answer from Voki email or from the other company. Any ideas on how to get someone at VOKI to actually ANSWER you? Remove the charge? Answer the phone? Oh yeah, they don't have one ... and the one who charged my account doesn't answer! HELP!

Why is my Voki not playing on my website?

I have my Voki embedded on my Weebly-created website. It has been working fine for the past 5 years. Now, it won't load on my computer (or my students' laptops). We just get a spinning "loading" wheel. However, it works fine on my third grade students' iPads. This change seems to have happened within the past week. I have cleared and re-embedded it, with the same result. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Thank you for taking my "wrong file uploaded" problem into account.. While waiting to find out what I was doing wrong I tried using a different account (different name, different email address but same computer) where there were in theory no saved files. As soon as I tried to upload a file I found myself with the same 28 files saved on the first account, and the same difficulty uploading the twenty-ninth. I feel a bit hounded ...

I have been using the free version of Voki for my students with no hiccups until today. When I try to upload a student's voice I get a previously used voice file, the last of a list of twenty-eight "saved files". I presume this means I've reached the limit but I don't seem to be able to delete the previous files, although I get a window asking for confirmation when I say that's what I want to do..
