Saving a Voki as an MP4 Video is not supported by the Voki site.

You could use 3rd party utilities (many of which are free) to record off the screen and generate an MP4 video.
While this is not supported by the Voki License, as long as it is not done commercially , and only for education, it is not a problem.
If you are looking for a solution for commercial use - please look at our SitePal product which does offer a Video Generation feature and license (you need to ask).

Error Message on Voki Classroom assignment

My students cannot click on the edit button on a Voki assignment I posted, so they can't even get started on their projects. Whenever they try to start the Voki this error message pops up in the window where the Voki usually is:


Error - [101] Missing Required Parameter PID


Yet they have no issues using the free version...


Any help on this matter would be appreciated!

April 9, 2016 has completely changed your site look and functionality. We are your regular guests, very disappointed and upset. We are discussing the big Russian forum this problem.
We kindly ask you to return the site to its previous appearance and its former functions.
This site we are very fond of. He was a good, beautiful and comfortable.
Now to your site you do not want to go.
We can not make cards as done before.

Hi All -

As part of the update to Voki 2.0 we've introduced many new capabilities (including for free users) and we've also restricted some features to paid customers. Among these features were the advanced publish & share features.

I apologize sincerely for the inconvenience this has caused - but to make Voki sustainable and ensure its continued existence we need to charge for more than we have been.

Thanks for your support & understanding - and I hope you will consider a paid subscription.

Hello! I create a voki, I add TTS in greek language (Afroditi) I can hear what I am typing, but after publishing and play that voki the TTS voice not properly says what I have written. That appears with the new site version. Can anyone help on this?

This problem has been fixed.


It was not only Greek - but all non-English text was not processed correctly after the 'new and improved' Voki site was launched last month (or as we unimaginatively call it "Voki 2.0").
