Hi Lila -

Thanks for your suggestion!

Voki's primary focus is serving the education community - and as such we are not likely to prioritize solutions for youtube vlogging - important as that may be.

Best regards,

Gil

Hi Susan -

support@voki.com is our official customer support address - and you should expect to receive a response within 2 working days (though we usually respond on the same day and monitor emails on weekends).

If you have not received a response from support, please monitor your email junk folder - sometimes emails get categorized as spam.

feedback@voki.com is not a support vehicle, but a way for customers to provide well.. feedback.

We review the incoming emails carefully, discuss them, and usually respond, but without specific urgency.

This week the person who normally monitors feedback is out on vacation - and that might be why you have not received a response.

Is there any way I can help or advise?

Best,

Gil

Yes - there is a problem affecting 3 voices due to a configuration problem on our servers - should be fixed shortly.

Hi Tim -

I understand.

Students do not have to register, they can create their Voki's and share it with you without registering.

But to save a Voki for future use they must register.

If they did save their Voki as you say - then they must have registered, which means they can login at any time and email their character to you.

If they did not share or save their character then there is no way to locate it I'm afraid

I'd like to suggest you take a look at our product "Voki Classroom" which was designed to simplify these very issues. With Voki Classroom students do not need to register and their assignments are automatically visible to the teacher.

Hope this helps,

Gil

Hi Tim -

Voki allows every user to share their Voki characters - they can do so by email, by posting to social networks, or by embedding their Voki in their blog or web page.

However - like any personal information - if a user chooses not to share it, then it is not available to others.

I hope this helps,

Gil

Hi Will -

About a year ago we introduced a "character library" for this purpose.

Save your character to the library - and then use it again and again to create different Voki scenes with different audios.

Question 1 - I think this is moot given the above info - however, if you change a Scene and then share it again, both recipients will see/hear the updated version, as the original Scene was changed. What you are sharing is a link to the actual scene - not a copy.

Question 2 - Classroom is a management environment & the question does not really apply. But for Presenter the answer is yes - when creating a Voki Presentation, you have the option of copying the presentation or individual Slides - which duplicates the character in that Slide.

However the character library is your real solution.

Hope this helps,

Gil
