Hello!
From time to time we make product changes to improve the product but also to balance the Voki product lineup.
It is thus possible that a model that used to be available to Basic (Free ) users, may now be limited to paid plans.
This is not a frequent occurrence mind you. In fact most of the updates that we make are in the opposite direction - when we add new models, most are made available to Basic users.
Please send us a note to support@voki.com - and ask that it be referred to me - and point out which model is the one in question - and I'll check and see if it can be made available.
All the best,
Gil

- For the Free (Basic) plan: 60 seconds (or 600 characters for text-to-speech)
- For the paid plans: 90 seconds (or 900 characters for text-to-speech)
Please review other advantages of paid plans here: https://www.voki.com/site/pricing
Hope this helps,

You're welcome - and I hope this will be cleared up quickly, but at this point we do not yet have visibility regarding the schedule. It may take a long or a short time - this is not yet clear. I'll post an update when I know more.
Best,
Gil
fyi - we are in touch with Canvas team. I'll advise when clear.
We'll look into it.

Voki is implemented in HTML5 and Javascript. It does not use Flash.
We offer Flash option for backward compatibility to users who need to embed in sites that do not support Javascript embed.
If Canvas intends to drop support for Flash without enabling a non-Flash alternative, there is nothing we can do about that at present.
Though is is possible, as a workaround to generate a video in the mobile app, and post that video to canvas.
I suggest to appeal to Canvas to enable Voki character embed in their platform.
If their customers request it - perhaps they will.
All the best,
Gil

Thanks for your feedback!
We'll look into the presentation issues you raised.
Separately - you raised the issue of Voki not loading, or taking a long time to load. Is this also related to Voki Presenter?
Or if not - where in the Voki program exactly does it happen?
Can you provide a link or screenshot?
If we can understand how to recreate the problem - we'll be able to address it.
If you prefer send the information via email to support@voki.com to be forwarded to me.
All the best,
Gil

Voki is implemented in HTML5 & Javascript, designed to work on all browsers and platforms (including mobile).
For the past several years we've also supported the deprecated Flash player, specifically for users who needed to publish to Canvas.
Now, as Flash can no longer be used, we are working with Canvas to enable posting our characters to their platform. I don't have an ETA on that, but it is in progress.

Gil
