Joanna -
This is not currently possible - but we are working on sharing presentations with students, at which point it will become possible. Soon.
Thanks for bringing this up.
Best regards,

Hello Joanna -
Our QA just reviewed loading and working with the Voki site, on several Chromebooks.
No problem was noticed.
My best guess (just a guess) is that the student's chromebooks are perhaps configured by the school to use the school server as a proxy - or to use a VPN connection - either way they are behind the school firewall.
Please check with your IT - and ask them if they could enable web browsing access to the following domains -
*.voki.com
and
*.oddcast.com
Also - to use the record-by-mic feature (allow students to record their own voice using the computer's mic) - IT will also need to enable:
* Ports 1935, 443 and 80 to access RTMP, RTMP/E, RTMFP, RTMPT & HTTP protocols.
Please try and let me know - I hope this proves to be the reason.
Best,
Gil
Hello Joanna -
I'm sorry to hear. This is odd and I could use a bit more info.
Are the students remotely connected to the school network? (I'm thinking perhaps school firewall restriction)
Is the problem limited to student chromebooks?
Is there anyone not using a chromebook & is that person not experiencing the problem?
Are you yourself seeing the same problem on your computer?
if only on chromebook, are all the chromebooks the same make and model? Which?
Thank you,
Gil

Hi Sandra -
If you were logged in to your Voki account when you saved your character, then it should be present in your "Create" page.
Please send a note to our support at: support@voki.com - and let them know your login email - and they will look into it.
Best regards,
Gil
Hi Ankit -
There is no standard spacing of the spoken words. Different voices (even from the same manufacturer) behave differently; not just as it relates to the spacing of the words, but also to the overall speed of speaking.
Just like natural speech is not uniform.
You can use commas to affect a natural pause in speech - but that too is not standardized.
For precise pause length you need to use prosody tags. SitePal provides a convenient test page to help you play around with SSML - check it out here (click on Break at bottom left) - https://sitepal.com/documentation/fine_tuning
Hope this helps,
Gil
Hello!
If you are using your account continuously - your Voki content (and links to that content) will remain in working order indefinitely.
Voki accounts, whether Free, or expired paid accounts, that have been abandoned, will be recycled after 2 years. This means that their content will be cleared to make room for active users.
Hope this helps,
Gil

I'm sorry to say that it is not possible to recover content that has been deleted.
I wish I could be more helpful.

Lamento decir que no es posible recuperar el contenido que se ha eliminado.
Desearía poder ser más útil.
