Glad to hear you're enjoying Voki! You can change the speed of the voice by using SSML tags! Decrease the rate by pasting this code into the TTS box:
<prosody rate="slow"> YOUR TEXT </prosody>

Voki Classroom and Voki Presenter allows users to have increased audio length. Our free Voki product supports up to 60 seconds of recorded audio, which is around 600 characters for TTS. Voki Classroom and Voki Presenter can support up to 90 seconds, which is around 900 characters.

Did the recording save or was it pending the entire time? T clearing the cache and cookies from the browser and download the latest Flash player from here: http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ . Reboot the machine and try to record again. Let us know if that helped or if the issue still persists.
